Heart-y Party! Peppa's Valentine Day adapted by Courtney Carbone

THERE ARE LOTS OF SPECIAL CARDS AND PACKAGES IN THE MAIL TODAY.

Peppa Pig is awaiting the mailman. And she's in for a surprise. Her friend, Zoe Zebra, is helping her dad, the postman, deliver all that mail, and she is delivering a special letter.

Peppa and George hear their mail drop through the mail slot.

"WE GOT SOME LETTERS!" CRIES PEPPA.

And one is a Valentine for Peppa from Zoe Zebra! Momma Pig explains that Valentines are cards people send to tell everyone how much they mean to each other. Of course, Peppa wants to make her own Valentines for her friends. And then, of course, Peppa wants to deliver her Valentines right away. Momma Pig agrees and takes Peppa over to Zoe's house so Peppa can deliver her special Valentine to her friend Zoe and her twin sisters Zaza and Zuzu.

And Peppa has something else special to tell. Momma Pig is letting her have her own Valentine's Day party. Peppa and Zoe make their list of guaests, and Mr. Zebra invites Peppa to join them in the mail truck to hand-deliver her party invitations.

It's a happy Valentine's Day for Peppa, George, and her friends, in Peppa's Valentine's Day (Peppa Pig) (Scholastic Press, 2017). This inexpensive little paperback, based on the hit PBS series, introduces youngsters to the fun of making and delivering Valentines for others. Even Momma and Daddy Pig get in on the fun, and since this book comes with tear-out sheets of stickers, young readers can also get busy making their own Valentines, courtesy of Peppa Pig.
