(Candlewick Press, 2009), "With Scary Flaps," which offers all the pseudo-scary sights of Halloween--dangling spiders, owls silhouetted on a bare tree limb, skeletons, haunted houses, bats, playful ghosts, and of course, trick-or-treat candy behind a friendly door just waiting for a knock.

Walsh, a veteran of the venerable board book format, offers up sturdy flaps and simple but glowing images in a bright Halloween palette of greens, golds, oranges, and basic black which urge the littlest baby spooks to get out there and say "BOO!"
