Including Clifford! Clifford and the Big Red School by Meredith Ruso

Emily Elizabeth hops down from the school bus and races into the backyard where her best friend, Clifford The Big Red Dog, is waiting. She is eager to tell Clifford about all the fun things she did at school--music class with maracas, stories in the story circle, painting in art class, and snack time with little cups of fruit....

Clifford wags his tail, but he looks sad to have missed it all.

Suddenly Emily Elizabeth's eyes lit up.

"We need a Big Red School here in the yard!"

"WOOF!" said Clifford.

And with Clifford's help and his canine pals, Bailey and Tucker, Emily Elizabeth makes it all happen. She pulls out an old rug for story circle, some beanbag chairs and chalkboard from the garage, and gathers some pebbles into empty cans to make rather large maracas. Soon the dogs are doing paw-print paintings in Emily Elizabeth's art class, and then... Clifford's big tummy begins to rumble.

It's snack time with dog treats, in Meredith Ruso's doggy tale, Big Red School (Clifford) (Scholastic, 2019), a first-day-of-school book for Emily Elizabeth and for her dog Clifford. And there are plenty of stickers created by the book's illustrator Remy Simard  for young Clifford fans, in this new series celebrating the famous Big Red Dog created by Norman Bridwell.
