Boo! Ollie's Halloween by Olivier Dunrea

IT'S HALLOWEEN NIGHT.

NIGHT TO BEWARE.

A NIGHT TO SCARE!

GOSLINGS ARE ON THE PROWL.

Those little goslings, Gossie, Gertie, Peedie, BooBoo, and, Ollie, are all turned out as spooky somethings or other, with Ollie especially scary in his mummy wrappings, for some All Hallows' Eve fun. There's candy corn liberally sprinkled in the grain pile and lots of spooky rustling among the dry corn stalks and lots of frightful noises to make among the pumpkins, apples to bob for, and lots of hooting and howling to do.

But watch out, goslings! Halloween night can be just a bit intimidating when lightning starts to slash through the darkening sky.

Ollie, don't get left behind in the woods when the others hotfoot it for the barn with their treats!

Olivier Dunrea's latest gosling tale, Ollie's Halloween (Gossie and Friends) (Houghton Mifflin, 2010) is a fine Halloween treat for all those would-be baby spooks. No tricks here! Just a sweet treat for Halloween.
